Mini Play Art

Embark on exciting adventures through the world of art, sensory play and literature.

Play, create and make art!  Our play-based approach focuses on the process and the joy of creating by allowing children to explore various traditional and non-traditional art materials. Each week we will begin with an art provocation--carefully set out art materials that provokes children to create, ask questions, test ideas, and think independently. We will then read a story that will connect to the week's theme.  Children will then work on their weekly projects to explore the theme and art materials. Our goal is to cultivate important social and emotional skills, encourage risk-taking and mistake making, develop fine motor skills and nurture the joy of making art.
